Spectra Group (UK) Ltd are pleased to announce that they are once again sponsoring the Soldiering On Awards which will this year take place on April 5th 2019 at the Park Plaza hotel in Westminster, London. The evening will focus on highlighting the outstanding achievements of those who have served their country as well as individuals and groups who work together with the Armed Forces Community.

As in previous years, Spectra Group (UK) Ltd is sponsoring the Sporting Excellence category. This category recognises a person who has overcome their disability or injury to excel in the field of sport. There are 5 nominees in this category. The CEO of Spectra Group (UK) Ltd, Simon Davies, will present the award to the winner.

Now in its ninth year, the Soldiering On Awards have partnered with X-Forces Enterprise (XFE) – a 100% not for profit Community Interest Company. There are thirteen categories in total, honouring a broad range of achievements from Sporting Excellence, Healthcare and Rehabilitation and Family Values as well as celebrating those who have taken their military experience and turned it into a successful business.

Each category will be rigorously judged by an independent panel co-chaired by the Awards’ President, General the Lord Dannatt GCB, CBE MC, DL, and Vice President Debra Allcock Tyler, CEO of the Directory of Social Change.

Additionally, the recipient of the People’s Choice Award and Animal Partnership Award will be voted for by the public through the Soldiering On Awards website www.soldieringon.org.  Voting will be open from February 13th to March 4th.
