Accio Consult and Construct, one of the UK’s leading multi-disciplined, specialist construction companies, enters the final stages of a multi-week project to refurbish the Reading head office as part of the Virgin Media O2 corporate re-branding programme.
The project has seen Accio introduce blended branding, merging the O2 identity firmly into the 5 floors of the formerly Virgin Media head office. After a longstanding relationship with Virgin Media and now Virgin Media O2 over the past 5 years, Accio has been selected to develop various schemes for this market leading, forward thinking, customer focused client across the UK. Accio is now also leading the way as a principal construction partner for Virgin Media O2’s nationwide post-merger office refurbishment programme.
Within the project scope, Accio has redecorated spaces within the office areas, including the entire ground floor atrium and refreshment areas on each of the 4 floors above. Installation of new, on-brand refurbishment to combine the Virgin Media O2 red and blue, as well as other signage within the building and externally have been completed. Two tunnel walkways in the ground floor space have been transformed, with new large 20m long floor-to-ceiling vinyl and numerous other branded redecorations, all creating highly impactful spaces.
Accio has fostered a close working relationship with the client, understanding their vision and seamlessly incorporating changes and additions in support of Virgin Media O2’s evolving re-branding programme. The final stage of the refurbishment project centres on installing a new curtain scheme in the office spaces across the 4 upper floors and behind the reception desk, further fitting of a plush rug to welcome visitors, plus various other new signage works, branded vinyls to the atrium, tea points, and additional office decorations. The highly impressive Reading office re-branding and refurbishment is due for full completion in early July.
