Chamois, a UK-based, veteran-owned and operated PR and marketing agency, is proud to donate paddleboards and choke vests to Yeovil Sea Cadets to support practical training and adventurous activities that build leadership, resilience and teamwork.
Donation highlights:
- Two choke vests to enhance realistic first-aid and casualty-simulation training.
- Six paddleboards to expand water-based activities, foster teamwork and encourage outdoor fitness.
- In-kind support aimed at increasing cadet engagement and broadening training opportunities.
Chamois believes cadet programmes offer transformative benefits by providing discipline, community service experience and leadership development that may otherwise be unavailable. The company has engaged extensively with cadet forces throughout its staffs’ military careers, and everyone understands the long-term positive impact on participants and communities.
Chamois has a decade-long commitment to supporting Regular, Reserve, Cadet forces, veterans and their families. The company’s remote-first working culture is an extension of their military experience, where employees are encouraged to balance working remotely with pursuing outdoor activities. This reflects its belief that blending professional excellence with personal development at all ages is essential to any organisation, and the cadet forces are the greatest exemplar of this commitment. It is this military-based ethos and values that drive Chamois’ support for the cadet forces as they transform young lives and strengthen communities.
S/Lt (SCC) Kerri Partington RNR, Commanding Officer, Yeovil Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets said: “We are so grateful to Chamois for their very kind donation to support our cadet training. Making training interesting and relevant is essential for maintaining a thriving cadet force. The choke vests provide realism to First Aid training, and the cadets absolutely loved unpacking the paddleboards – they completed in an inflation competition and even got the juniors involved. I’m sure they will enjoy using them even more in warmer weather in the coming months. Thank you Chamois!”
Jamie Clarke, CEO at Chamois Consulting said: “Cadet forces deliver incomparable opportunities for young people. They teach responsibility, confidence and practical skills while improving social mobility and mental wellbeing. We’re delighted to play our part by providing kit that makes training realistic, engaging and fun.” He added, “We hope this donation helps Yeovil Sea Cadets deliver the exciting, confidence-building experiences their members deserve. We will continue to champion cadet forces and continue to urge our own clients to invest in the next generation.”
