Our relationship with Jamie started many years ago whilst he was at Supacat, a long-standing client of Alcon’s. Three things were immediately clear to me: Jamie has endless enthusiasm and energy for anything with wheels (or tracks) on; in particular, he knows the defence industry intimately; and he has a real eye and talent for marketing and PR, especially when taking into account the importance of relationships.
I get bombarded daily by businesses offering the likes of recruitment and marketing services, and it’s a real drag. However, when I saw via LinkedIn that Jamie had set up Chamois the boot was on the other foot, and I approached Jamie, such is my enthusiasm for dealing with him. The service provided by Jamie and the Chamois team has, to date, been exemplary and as a result, we’ve just signed yet another new 2-year contract to extend our partnership. 2022 is our 20th year for Spectra Group and it is testament to the value of partnering with Chamois, and the excellent service they have provided for almost a quarter of that time, that I have no hesitation in extending the partnership for a further 24 months. As well as being flexible, responsive and dedicated, a key element that sets Chamois apart from other agencies is the fact that the team collectively holds vast experience in our world of military equipment gained as operational users and MOD procurement executives, as well as being technically staff trained at various military academies. In addition, they have spent time in commercial sales and marketing roles across a wide range of sectors so they intimately understand our products, our services and our corporate communication needs. As we renew our arrangement, I am also extending the scope of services that Chamois provides to ease the pressure on the in-house team and allow expansion in other areas. The advantage of working with Chamois for a longer period is they now operate and feel like an integral part of the company, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wishing to further develop their brand exposure and successfully reach a wider, targeted audience with specific company messaging.
